Among Us Tops the PS List of Most Downloaded in 2021

PlayStation has revealed the list of most downloaded games in December 2021. Among Us is the leader of the list for both Europe and North America regions. The game quickly jumped up to first place on PS4 and PS5 devices.

The game was introduced to PS owners only in December. Whether it is the $4 price or the basic concept of the game, it attracted players around the world. Experienced players and newcomers paid their attention to the social game where you have to show your Sherlock Holmes’ deduction skills and find out the Impostor.

While Among Us was a top choice of both Americans and Europeans, they also agreed about the second, third, and fourth places. Players picked Call of Duty: Vanguard, Madden NFL 22, Battlefield 2042 as the best games at the end of the 2021 year as well. Other games that reached the top-10 list were Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Marvel’s Spider-Man. It looks like Spider-Man continues to fascinate players with its web-knitting skills and wits. These two games were in the top chart for the whole year. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla made it through on top of the US list. European players turned out to be more demanding. Since last year, the game continues to lose its popularity dramatically.

Meanwhile, Beat Saber tops the VR charts in Europe and the US, and Canada. It is followed by Swordsman VR, Job Simulator, and Superhot VR. As for the free-of-charge games, Fortnite continues to fascinate players, offering numerous features and new crossovers. Apart from this battle royale, players also choose Genshin Impact, Rocket League, and Destiny 2. And if you are looking for getting spooked, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is in the top-10 of the lists for PS4, and PS5 too.
