Life Is Strange is a popular graphic adventure game that was released back in 2015. It garnered favorable feedback from audiences and reviewers alike. After that, several prequels and spin-offs were published, including True Colors. It became available relatively recently, and a copy for the Nintendo Switch arrived only in December. Now you have the opportunity to purchase the Boxed Version of it on physical media.

In this part of the game, you have to play as Alex. Her mother died when she was little; her father left the family early, so she spent her entire childhood with her brother Gabe in orphanages. Fate separated them, but Alex did not stay with her foster parents for too long because of her superpower. The fact is that the character has uncontrollable empathy. She is able to feel the emotions that others experience acutely and manipulate them.

After a while, Alex is reunited with her brother. However, not for long, as he dies under strange circumstances. Now you have to investigate the case while immersing yourself in the life of a small mining town. Like the original, True Colors in its episodes forces players to explore all locations thoroughly. It is unhurried and therefore may not be suitable for fans of driving action games. Take your time to complete the main quest, explore the vinyl record store, watch the sunset while listening to relaxing music, and interact with the locals.

This part of the game was not developed by Dontnod, who released the original, but by Deck Nine. Since another company continued to deal with the franchise, some users were dissatisfied with the result. They believed that the change of company affected the final version, and it did not turn out the way they expected. However, True Colors certainly has its fans. What do you say about it? Did you enjoy this part of the franchise?
