Citizens of the US and Canada can now enjoy their favorite TikTok moves on Amazon’s Fire TV. Only a few months ago Apple released these features in European countries, including Germany, France, and the UK. The US version is not different from the European one.

To be able to use the app, you have to follow these steps:

  • Download TikTok from the Amazon store.
  • Register your profile.
  • Use it by asking your personal assistant “Alexa, open TikTok.”
  • Or open it manually.

It has similar functions to the mobile version. You have to register a profile or sign in if you already have one. Once you enter you can check out the Following, For You, or Discover pages. There is also a popular AutoPlay option that offers you to enjoy videos non-stop.

Alexa can facilitate the experience, so don’t push against voice control. Use Alexa to manage the app. You may give simple orders like “pause” or “stop”. Via Alexa Voice Remote control you can even start the song by telling Alexa to play. The TikTok app is soon to be released on Echo Show smart devices, according to Amazon.

Meanwhile, you are not limited by Fire TV to watch TikTok. Several months ago TikTok became available on Android TV and Google TV in some European countries. However, in the US you can only use Fire TV for now. Before Amazon’s news, US citizens were not able to watch TikTok on TV at all. Samsung Smart TV began to work with the TikTok app last December in Europe. Android TV works in Germany, the UK, and France. These countries can enjoy TikTok on new LG smart TVs. Once it comes on Echo Show you will be able to enjoy it online from any place in the world if you have the right device for it. The Beijing-based social network TikTok is on-demand around the world and it continues to gain more audience every day, including celebrities.
