There is a new feature on its way to YouTube users. Recommended radios are based on personal preferences for songs and artists. YouTube is currently testing new options to extend the personalized experience.

While it is still unknown when the new feature will be rolled out it was already noticed among upcoming projects. Like Add to playlist UI, it waits for its turn. While radio channels on YouTube Music are usually generated for a specific song, this new service will analyze your preferences of artists and their songs.

The section named “Recommended radios” was found by users in the Music’s Home tab. For now, it has 10 different radio stations that are changing each time you update your feed there. In the images of each station you will find up to the 3 artists you will find on the radio. There is a waveform on the background and the logo of YT Music. Every station has a different name based on the content. Usually, it is called by the band or genre. There can be radios called by musicians. Under the image of the musicians inside you will find a brief description of the radio. This is how you will get the idea of what to expect inside. For example, on Pop Radio, there will be a sign "Popular, 2020". You can see the names of other artists as well under the title of the radio.

Once you tap the icon of the particular radio, the playlist opens in front of you, revealing the songs. There is a button that allows you to add the songs to the library. You can shuffle songs you see on the list. Listen to your favorite songs and update the feed, so radios will be updated as well up to your current preferences. If you have the desktop version of the app, you need to click the radio station to start listening to songs. On smartphones, you have to tap the play button.
