As the Diablo IV Beta launch nears, gamers are filled with both excitement and concern. Will the test run for the upcoming Blizzard game be a success, or are the players doomed to face unwelcome errors like in 2012?

In mid-May 2012, shortly before the release of the eagerly awaited Diablo III, Blizzard Entertainment warned that “Error 37” could be encountered when trying to log into the game if the connection is not established within 40 seconds. While the developers hoped this problem would be resolved quickly, it was far more widespread than they anticipated, and some players were unable to join the game for up to 24 hours. Since then, this error and the accompanying meme have become the stuff of legend, and it is no surprise that the news of Diablo IV's upcoming Beta launch sparked a wave of concern among gamers about the possibility of a similar error occurring again.

Unfortunately, the fact that Diablo IV will require an Internet connection to access the single-player mode has also caused unease among fans. Additionally, reminders of similar issues, such as those with Overwatch 2 and World of Warcraft's DLCs, have only increased their concerns. What's more, the early access weekend that starts tomorrow and the public beta test that will take place from March 24-27 run the risk of being filled with bugs, which is why some fans are not planning to take time off for this event.

In conclusion, the upcoming Diablo IV Beta launch will bring fans mixed emotions. While they are excited to try the new game, they are also wary of the possibility of a repeat of the infamous “Error 37”. Though there is no way of predicting how the game will perform during this test, Blizzard must be prepared to ensure the game runs smoothly. In any case, the full version of Diablo IV will be released on June 6.
