Astro’s Playroom Update Adds New Gran Turismo-Inspired Bot

As the launch date for Team Asobi's Astro Bot on the PS5 approaches, players can find an exclusive special bot in Astro’s Playroom. This addition comes after the introductions of Lady Maria from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters and Selene from Returnal. The latest special bot is a nod to a Gran Turismo driver in the Cooling Springs area. To release this bot, players will need to tackle a challenging puzzle.

Anticipation builds for a fourth special bot, set to arrive in September. Judging by its silhouette, it promises to delight fans of the Ape Escape series. All these special bots will be transferable to Azure Bot when they officially debut next month. Since Astro’s Playroom is complimentary for every PS5 player and can be completed in roughly 4 to 5 hours, it's an excellent, albeit optional, way to gear up for the upcoming adventure.

Astro Bot is set to launch on September 6th for $59.99, promising a much larger scale than Playroom, with over 80 levels, 300 bots to rescue, and more than 15 exciting abilities for Astro.
