It was first released for Microsoft Windows on February 26, 2016, and later for OSX and Linux on July 29, 2016. Stardew Valley brings the experience of a traditional Harvest Moon-style game and updates it for a new generation of gamers.

Gameplay

The player is a newcomer to Stardew Valley. They have inherited their grandfather’s old farm, and must work to build up its production while organizing their time to explore the town, socialize with the local inhabitants, and manage their home energy. The player can fish, forage, raise livestock, grow crops and craft goods, while customizing their character’s home and social life.
