How to Get the Winter Jacket in Sons of the Forest – A Comprehensive Guide
2023-03-20
Winter is one of the most challenging times for players in Sons of The Forest, but with a little preparation, it can be conquered. This guide will provide all the necessary information on getting the Winter Jacket and surviving winter in Sons of The Forest.
Step 1: Find the Winter Jacket Location
The Winter Jacket can be found at a specific location southwest of the forest. It is located near two cave entrances and a couple of lakes; look for a pulsating green circle on your GPS map that marks its exact location. You'll find it near a large lake north of this marker and west of the mountain range.
Step 2: Look for an Abandoned Campsite
Once you've arrived at your destination, look around for an abandoned campsite near a waterfall; this is where you'll find your precious Winter Jacket! You'll also find some supply crates and other items here, so remember to check them out too. To pick up your jacket, simply press 'E' or click 'E' if you want to add it directly to the inventory.
Step 3: Prepare Yourself For Survival In Cold Weather
The cannibals are hostile, so keep alert during this mission as they may attack unexpectedly - drink water regularly and make sure you eat enough food and rest properly when needed! Having said that, even with all these precautions taken into account, being exposed to cold weather will still drain your stamina bar quickly – something which cannot be avoided unless you have access to suitable clothing such as…you guessed it – The Winter Jacket!
Step 4: Make Use Of Fire & Torches To Keep Warm
You can use sticks found around nearby areas (or from crafting stations) to build fires on open ground when necessary; these will help keep you warm until you are able to locate/purchase proper clothing, such as The Winter Jacket from elsewhere in-game or from other players online. Alternatively, torches made using cloths (from the crafting station) offer another good option - plus, they stay lit even under rain/snow conditions, making them perfect companions while exploring outdoors!
