Sony Unveils Horizon Forbidden West Access to PlayStation Plus Members

Sony has revealed that beginning February 21st, the highly praised video game Horizon Forbidden West will become accessible to subscribers of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. It's a great way to dive into the world of the successor to Horizon Zero Dawn and experience all it has to offer. With two horror games, Outriders, Borderlands 3, Scarlet Nexus, and many more joining in, too, there is plenty of excitement for PS5 owners next week.

Horizon Forbidden West was one of Sony’s biggest releases in 2022 and comes with an exciting expansion, ‘Burning Shores’ set for launch on April 19th which is exclusive only to PS5 players. My colleague Ash Parrish played through it, and he spent over 60 hours exploring its vast open-world environment full of hunting, crafting, and fighting opportunities with something new around every corner. He highly recommends the game, so if you have never tried it, now is your chance!

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will be treated to a new selection of games including the acclaimed Horizon Forbidden West, two spine-chilling titles—The Quarry and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard—as well as the cooperative sci-fi shooter, Outriders, which made its debut just last month. There are also plenty of classic titles, such as Borderlands 3 if you haven't tried it yet, or Scarlet Nexus for those who prefer mutant battles over gunslinging adventures!

Finally, Sony is adding several PS4 games too - Tekken 7; Ace Combat 7, Skies Unknown; Earth Defense Force 5; Oninaki; Lost Sphear; I am Setsuna - plus both versions (PS4 & PS5) for The Forgotten City will be available from February 21st too!

So get ready, PlayStation Plus subscribers, because there are lots in store come February 21st when these amazing games become available for you to try out!
