Foamstars Season 2: Groovy Disco Trailer Showcases Coiff Guy, New Mission and More

Despite experiencing a rocky launch, Square Enix's party shooter Foamstars is gearing up for an exciting resurgence with the upcoming Season 2: Groovy Disco, which begins on March 8th. The season introduces players to a funky new character, Coiff Guy, who brings the flair of disco dancing and the intensity of wrestling to the game. Fans will enjoy exploring his unique set of moves tailored to blend these two diverse styles.

The update also unveils two novel "Extreme Party" modes to amplify the fun. The "All Coiff Guy Party" mode lives up to its name, with every participant in the match adopting the persona of Coiff Guy, promising a disco-filled mayhem. On the other hand, the "Super Duel Party" sets the stage for a gripping 1v1 confrontation where gamers must rely solely on their skills, as the assistance from teammates is eliminated in this mode.

For those who prefer player-versus-environment (PvE) gameplay, Season 2 doesn't disappoint. A new Foamstar Mission introduces the menacing Dark Ramzey as a formidable boss challenge. Players will navigate a dynamic battlefield, evading its attacks while maneuvering through the foam to emerge victorious.
