A couple of years back, Control 2 was announced, and since then, it has been progressing through its early production stages. Recently, developer Remedy Entertainment shared good news in their latest quarterly fiscal report: Control 2 has officially reached the production readiness phase. Although full-scale production hasn't begun, the team confirmed they now have much of the game in a playable state, allowing them to accelerate work on this anticipated title.

Remedy Entertainment expressed their excitement over this milestone, detailing that Control 2 has advanced significantly. They delivered a playable version showcasing crucial features of the game, which has been invaluable for their ongoing business discussions. The team’s focus is now on scaling up the project's production.

In addition to Control 2, work continues on a multiplayer co-op spin-off known as Condor, which is reportedly set to be named FBC: Firebreak. This title entered full production earlier this year, and the developer has shared insights into its progress. They stated that the team has been developing various maps and mission types, engaging in extensive internal and limited external playtesting for validation and feedback.

Condor joins the ranks of two projects currently in full production at Remedy Entertainment, alongside the highly anticipated Remake of Max Payne 1 and 2.
